About us
We believe that no one in our community should face hunger.
That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people in Medway.
Medway Foodbank is a project founded by the local churches and community groups, who wanted to support local people who were facing financial crisis. We are part of a nationwide community of food banks, supported by Trussell, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
We are supported by many local churches with six of our nine foodbank centres being based in local churches.
Our Foodbank support is open to anyone facing food poverty in the Medway towns whatever their background and beliefs, and we work hard to offer a kind and compassionate welcome to all in need.
