About our foodbank
Here is an introduction to our project.
Medway Foodbank is a project founded by the local churches and community groups, who wanted to support local people who were facing financial crisis.
The project is part of the UK-wide Trussell network of foodbanks, and like Trussell, it has Christian foundations.
We are supported by many local churches with six of our nine foodbank centres being based in local churches.
Our Foodbank support is open to anyone facing food poverty in the Medway towns whatever their background and beliefs, and we work hard to offer a kind and compassionate welcome to all in need.
